The idea for ARMOTHINGS products came about when the founder was living in Armenia for several months during the pandemic and came across skincare products made in Armenia and was incredibly impressed by both the quality and the results. The experience led her to seek newly formed skincare brands as well as other brands carrying very unique products not only made in Armenia but also ones that specifically celebrated and represented Armenian identity. She then realized that she wants to be able to use these products when not in Armenia, and she figured others would also value them enough to want access to them outside of the country like herself, especially the Armenian community in the United States. So, she began to form relationships with these brands to earn their trust to introduce their products in the U.S.

The idea for the content followed after naturally from the desire to create a virtual space where Armenian art including both the visual and performing arts and culture including history and heritage can be celebrated and brought attention to in order to build a community of support for Armenian American artists, entrepreneurs and organizations.
